November is all about testing and optimization. As I specified in my last blog post, I have finished the prototype of my application and I am now focused on making the application work faster and smoother. Currently networking code is the biggest obsticle. I have put a new requirement for the Address Infinite application regarding Internet connectivity. Address Infinite now requires a broadband Internet connection, this will allow the online data syncing to work faster as there can be too large of a delay when waiting via a connection that is less than 5Mb per second.
Besides Internet connectivity requirements, the other portion of the application I am focused on involves the user interface. I am making small adjustments, here and there, that will likely carry into the final presentation deadline in order to help make the application as usable as possible. Small elements, such as the postitioning of textual content and the transition animations are being worked on.
